JotForm Forgot Password — How to Reset Your Account [2026]

Quick Answer
Step-by-Step Password Reset
- Go to jotform.com/login. Open jotform.com/login in your browser. The sign-in page loads with the email and password fields.
- Click "Forgot Password". Below the password field, click the Forgot Password link. This opens a single-field form asking for your email address.
- Enter your registered email. Type the email address you used when you created your JotForm account. If you are unsure which email you used, check your inbox for the original JotForm welcome or verification email.
- Click Send Reset Link. Click the button to submit. JotForm queues a reset email immediately.
- Open the reset email. The email arrives within 1–2 minutes. It comes from noreply@jotform.com with the subject line containing 'Reset your JotForm password.' If you do not see it in your inbox within 3 minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
- Click the reset link. Inside the email, click the reset link. It opens jotform.com in your browser on a page where you can set a new password. The link is valid for 60 minutes from when the email was sent.
- Set a new password. Enter your new password in both fields and click Save (or Reset Password). JotForm logs you in automatically to your dashboard after a successful reset.
If You Signed Up with Google, Apple, or Microsoft
The Forgot Password flow only works if you have a JotForm-specific password — meaning you signed up with an email address and created a password during registration.
If you used Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Continue with Microsoft to create your account, JotForm never assigned you a password. In this case:
- Do not use Forgot Password — it will send an email to an account with no password, which accomplishes nothing
- Use the same OAuth button you originally used to sign up (Google, Apple, or Microsoft)
- If you have forgotten which OAuth method you used, check your email inbox for a JotForm welcome message — it typically mentions the sign-in method
If you later want to add a separate password to your OAuth-linked account, log in via OAuth first, then go to Account Settings > Security > Change Password.
Password Reset Email Not Arriving
If the reset email does not arrive within 5 minutes, work through this checklist:
- Check spam/junk: JotForm's noreply address is occasionally flagged by spam filters, especially corporate email systems. Look in every spam-adjacent folder.
- Confirm the email address: A typo in the address means the email went to a nonexistent inbox. Try the reset again, typing the address carefully.
- Check for email delays: Some mail servers queue incoming email for up to 10 minutes during high-load periods. Wait a bit longer before trying again.
- Check if your domain blocks JotForm: Some corporate email filters block noreply@jotform.com. Ask your IT team to whitelist it, or use a personal email address to request the reset.
- Contact JotForm support: If nothing works after 15 minutes, go to jotform.com/contact and describe the situation. Support can manually trigger the reset or update your account email.
Enterprise and SSO Accounts
JotForm Enterprise accounts are often configured with single sign-on (SSO) through an organisation's identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace). In this case:
- JotForm password resets do not apply — your credentials are managed by your organisation's IdP
- Contact your IT department or system administrator to reset your corporate account password
- JotForm login is accessed via your organisation's SSO portal, not directly at jotform.com/login
