Free Plan — What You Actually Get
JotForm's free plan is genuinely useful for individuals and low-volume use cases. The 5-form limit means you can run a contact form, a newsletter signup, a feedback survey, an event RSVP, and one more form simultaneously. The 100-submission ceiling is the real constraint — a single moderately popular form can hit that in days.
What is included on Free: the full drag-and-drop form builder, 100+ basic templates, conditional logic, 10+ payment integrations (Square, PayPal, Stripe), email notifications, and basic analytics. There is no time limit on the free plan — it does not expire.
What is missing on Free: JotForm branding appears on your forms and on the submission confirmation page. You cannot use a custom subdomain. JotForm Tables, JotForm Apps, and JotForm Sign are unavailable. See the Is JotForm Free? guide for a full breakdown of free plan limits.
Starter / Bronze Plan — Best For Small Businesses
At roughly $29–$34 per month, the Starter plan is the right choice for most small businesses. 1,000 monthly submissions covers a busy contact form and a few specialised forms with room to spare. The jump from 100MB to 1GB storage means you can collect file uploads without hitting the storage limit constantly.
The most meaningful upgrade from Free to Starter is removing JotForm branding. Your forms present as part of your own brand — no "Powered by JotForm" footer. This alone is worth the cost for client-facing businesses.
Silver Plan — Best For Growing Teams
The Silver plan's jump to 10,000 monthly submissions and 10GB storage handles substantial form operations. JotForm Teams (multi-user access) becomes available here, making it the entry point for collaborative work where multiple people need to view and manage forms and submissions.
At roughly $34/month on annual billing, the cost-per-submission is significantly lower than Starter. If you are regularly hitting the Starter submission ceiling, Silver is the correct next step — the price increase is modest relative to the 10x submission capacity increase.
Gold Plan — High Volume and Agencies
Unlimited forms and 100,000 monthly submissions makes Gold the plan for agencies managing multiple clients, large organisations running many concurrent campaigns, and high-traffic sites with active form usage.
At ~$99/month on annual billing, Gold is expensive if your submission volume is moderate. Run the numbers: if you expect to use fewer than 30,000 submissions per month, Silver is the more economical choice.
Enterprise — When to Consider It
JotForm Enterprise is relevant in three specific situations:
- EU or UK data residency required: Standard plans store data in the US. Enterprise is the only option with European data centres.
- SSO and advanced user management: Organisations that need to provision and deprovision users centrally through Okta, Azure AD, or similar IdPs.
- SLA guarantees and dedicated support: Enterprise includes uptime SLA commitments and a dedicated Customer Success Manager.
Enterprise pricing is negotiated directly with JotForm. Request a quote at jotform.com/enterprise.

Which Plan Should You Choose?
Use Free if you have 1–2 low-traffic forms and do not mind the JotForm branding.
Use Starter if you need a clean, branded experience for up to ~1,000 submissions/month — this is the right tier for most freelancers and small businesses.
Use Silver if you manage multiple forms for a team and expect over 1,000 submissions/month.
Use Gold only when Silver is genuinely too small — the price jump is significant.
Use Enterprise for EU data residency, SSO, or SLA requirements.
